During our two-week stay in South Korea, we enjoyed exploring areas around town for scenic views and – of course – places to eat.
The extensive grounds of the Korean Folk Village are essentially a big park. Perfect for taking a stroll in while enjoying both nature, and the sights of historical architecture.
Maybe this is where one could meet our favourite Woodalchi General, Choi Young [Drama The Great Doctor], or Crown Prince/King Lee Hwon [Drama Moon embracing the sun].
We communicated using a translating app, ferocious hand movements, pointing at names on our brochure and throwing broken bits of Korean into the mix.
